Behavioural Neurology

The Behavioural Neurology Program is a short-term assessment and treatment program for people suffering disturbances in cognitive function and behaviour due to brain dysfunction. Problems may include memory loss, speech and language disorders, as well as cognitive deficits associated with psychiatric disorders such as depression.

Care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes: doctors, nurses, a neuropsychologist, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a therapeutic recreationist, a speech language pathologist, a social worker and a dietician. Other professionals are available on a consultative basis.
