In the new body and brain research centre at Baycrest, noted population neuroscientist Tomáš Paus will investigate how our genetic traits combined with environmental factors — what we eat, how we manage stress, our physical activity, and so on — influence whether or not we develop diseases such as depression, obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure.
