Terraces
The Terraces provide supportive housing, where 190 individuals live in their own apartment and access supportive services as required. Terraces’ staff provide many services, including nursing support. The nurse (RN or RPN) works in the Health Centre and practices to full scope of his/her professional role. Nurses here require such qualities as: the ability to work in a high pace, dynamic environment, provide excellent client-centred care, and have well developed assessment skills and autonomous decision making abilities. The emphasis in the Terraces is on Health Promotion and Community Development.
