The Post-Admission Meeting

It takes time to settle in to any new home. During the early weeks and months, you and your family will be learning about the Apotex Centre, and the Care Team will be learning about you.

About six weeks after admission, you and your family members will meet with the care team to talk about how well you are adjusting. This post-admission meeting is an opportunity to raise issues or concerns about your health and your care and for staff to recommend programs and resources that might be helpful.

You and your family are vital members of the care team, and we encourage you to participate in decisions involving your care at the Apotex Centre.
