Wheelchair Maintenance Program
In order to enhance our wheelchair assessment service to better meet the needs of our residents, Baycrest has retained the services of Shoppers HomeHealthCare as a preferred vendor. Shoppers will provide wheelchair assessment in addition to wheelchair cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs at no cost to the resident.
Previously you paid for wheelchair cleaning services through Baycrest. Wheelchair related benefits are no longer being supplied by Baycrest and these charges will cease. You will now be entitled to free cleaning and minor repairs up to a value of $50 by Shoppers HomeHealthCare.
Although Baycrest has evaluated and selected Shoppers HomeHealthCare as our preferred vendor, you are under no obligation to use them.
You can be provided with the appropriate details outlining the service and schedules available through your unit clerk.
