Clothing

We recommend that patients have a supply of washable, dryable clothing – enough to last at least seven days – including some outer garments. Clothing should be comfortable and easy to put on and take off. If possible, make arrangements to keep one season’s worth of clothes in your room (warm weather clothes in late spring/summer/ early autumn months, cold weather items in late autumn/winter/early spring months.)

Patients’ clothes should be labeled to help keep track of them in case they are misplaced or end up in Baycrest’s Linen and Laundry Department. Family members can label clothes or they can take advantage of our free labeling service. Ask the Unit Clerk for information.
