Laundry and Dry Cleaning

Laundering of patients’ clothes is the responsibility of the family or caregiver. For your convenience, Baycrest offers coin-operated laundry facilities in the basement of the Hospital. Clothes may also be taken out of Baycrest to be laundered.

For a monthly fee, patients and families can arrange to have clothes cleaned by our own Linen and Laundry Department and/or an outside dry-cleaning service. In this case, clothes MUST be labeled to ensure prompt return after laundering. If an item of clothing is not returned from the laundry, please contact Linen and Laundry services at 416-785-2500 extension 2123, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m and 3:30 p.m.
