Having Company During Meals

Family members may visit during mealtime, either to keep patients company or to assist them with eating. If visitors wish to order a meal for themselves as “guests”, they must purchase a meal ticket two business days ahead of time from the unit clerk or at the cashier’s office located on the second floor of Baycrest Hospital opposite the elevators.

The Activity Room on each floor may be reserved for special meals or celebrations. The family dining room on the main floor of the adjoining Apotex Centre can accommodate up to 12 people and larger rooms are also available. To arrange for special meals or celebrations, contact Baycrest Catering at 416-785-2500, extension 2871.
