If You Already Have a Private Companion

You may already have a Private Companion who has been helping you. This person is welcome to assist you after you are admitted to Baycrest Hospital.

You or your family should contact the manager of our Private Companion Program at 416-785-2500 extension 3195 as soon as possible. You will receive a registration package and must follow the steps it outlines. All Private Companions ARE REQUIRED to wear identification badges while they are on Baycrest property (not just on their Unit). A temporary badge will be supplied, and once the entire registration and orientation process is complete, a permanent ID badge will be issued. We ask that these steps be taken immediately.
