As a Hospital patient, you have access to a number of specialized clinics and other services within Baycrest. Your Care Team and other Baycrest professionals will determine which services you require (if any), and staff will then arrange an appointment. After you are seen, the Clinic specialist will send a report back to your Attending Physician. Our Medical Clinics are located on the main floor of the Hospital building across from the Main Cafeteria near the Khedive Avenue entrance. Some of the services available to Hospital patients include:
- eye examinations
- audiology (hearing tests)
- occupational therapy and physiotherapy assessments
- dental services and examinations • chiropody visits (special foot care)
Please note: Some of these services may be covered by provincial health insurance, by private insurance or under the Client Services Plan ( page 29). Otherwise you may be asked to pay an additional fee.
