A special conference for adult children of Holocaust Survivors attracted 160 at Baycrest on Sunday, Oct. 31. Survivor Families: From Generation to Generation featured guest speakers Lev Raphael, one of America's earliest Second Generation writers, and human rights activist Jeanette Friedman who is known internationally for her efforts in identifying and supporting the needs of Holocaust Survivors and their families. Conference attendees participated in workshops during the day and found strength in sharing common experiences.
