
Baycrest neuropsychologist Dr. Donald Stuss (centre) has received a 2004 University of Toronto Faculty Award. Flanking him are U of T President Robert J. Dr. Stuss has dedicated 25 years to the study of human frontal lobe function and has made significant contributions to a better understanding of the human mind. He has published several books, co-authored the 1986 classic reference, The Frontal Lobes, and was co-editor of Principles of Frontal Lobe Function, in 2002. He has also authoredMore than 100 journal articles. He was named the first director of The Rotman Research Institute (at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care) in 1989 and is vice-president of Research at Baycrest. Dr. Stuss is a professor in the departments of Psychology and Medicine and the Graduate Department of Rehabilitation Science. His work has been recognized with dozens of awards and honours, including the Order of Ontario in 2001.
