Ontario Minister of Research and Innovation visits Baycrest

The Ontario Government's Minister of Research and Innovation visited Baycrest on Nov. 3 for a tour and overview on the use of technology that drives research and product innovation at Baycrest. The Hon. John Wilkinson also learned more about the products being developed for commercialization in the Baycrest Centre for Brain Fitness. Among the stops on the tour was a visit to the research lab that houses a state-of-the-art functional magnetic resonance imaging brain scanner (fMRI). Standing beside the simulator scanner that is used to prep research subjects before they undergo the actual scanning in the magnet is (L to R) front: The Hon.
