Complex Continuing Care Program


The Complex Continuing Care Program of Baycrest Hospital, Ben and Hilda Katz Building, provides care for older patients (65 years old plus) with complex medical conditions in a non-acute hospital setting. Complex medical conditions include: recovery from stroke, pressure ulcer and wound management, pain and symptom management, and other chronic medical conditions that impact the client’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual well being. The Complex Continuing Care Program helps patients and their families identify strategies that support quality-of-life goals as well as short term and long term care needs. The principles of Judaism guide Baycrest in daily operations while serving clients of all backgrounds.

Physician referral required.

Fee:
Clients are charged a daily Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care mandated co-payment fee. Subsidies are available to qualified applicants.
