The Geriatric Assessment and Treatment Unit (GATU) provides diagnostic and functional assessments, and short-term treatment for frail elderly clients who are experiencing medical illnesses and recent functional decline. Average length of stay is approximately four weeks. Physician referral required.
Fee:
There are no fees associated with the assessment and treatment, although patients requesting a private room will be charged accordingly. There may also be a fee associated with the rental or purchasing of any equipment.
