Saul and Rae Saltsman Day Treatment Centre – Community Treatment Team


The program assists older adults who are having difficulty managing in their own homes and have complex health problems requiring rehabilitation. The goal of treatment is to help clients attain and maintain optimal physical and psychosocial functioning.
This centre offers two programs:

  • Parkinson’s Self Management Program (PSMP): designed to empower clients with Parkinson’s and their care partners to self-manage their condition. Clients attend a 12-week program.
  • The Wellness Path: increase the skill, knowledge and support for the frail elderly, to help them achieve their maximum physical, emotional and cognitive well-being. Clients attend twice a week.
