Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology provides services internally to Baycrest clients and staff, and externally to other institutions and the community.

Internal services consist of:

• Neuropsychological Assessments
• Cognitive Rehabilitation
• Consultation services to support staff and educate families

External services include:

• Neuropsychological consultation to other institutions
• Workshops for the normal aging population as well as the corporate business sector
• Services for strategies to manage cognitive disorders in the community

Knowledge transfer and education initiatives include:

• Information sharing via the use of technology (telehealth, internet websites, CD-ROM)
• Training of undergraduate doctoral and post-doctoral students in clinical neuropsychology
