The Caring Communtiy: A Supportive Network for the Elderly


This is a compilation of papers by Walter H. Lyons, M.S.W. For more than 30 years he worked with the elderly and their families at Baycrest in Toronto. As administrator of the Jewish Home for the Aged, he introduced the concept of day care services for the elderly, as well as special care programs for people with Alzheimer’s disease.
