Spousal Bereavement Group
This is based on a mutual-aid model with an educational component. The Group offers support and understanding for issues of loss, loneliness, pain and healing for widows/widowers 55+.Contact: Shawn Fremeth ext. 2986
Sharing the Caring: Caring for Your Spouse
An opportunity for caregivers to come together to discuss topics of concerns and interest.Contact: Sylvia Nathanson ext. 2252.
Caring for Your Loved One
An education and support group for spouses of dementia sufferers living in the community. Topics include communication, understanding challenging behaviors and dealing with caregiver stress.Contact: Lesley Patterson ext. 2247; or Kathleen Connolly, ext. 2332
Complex Continuing Care Spouses' Support Group
Offered to spouses/partners of clients in Complex Continuing Care, who want to share wisdom and experience in caregiving within the hospital setting.Contact your floor social worker.

Support Group for Spouses of Apotex Residents
Offered to spouses/partners of Apotex residents to discuss changing dynamics of marital relationship, visiting, self care.The Visionaries

Terrace Newcomers' Group
