Apotex Centre, Jewish Home for the Aged

The Apotex Centre, Jewish Home for the Aged, is home to over 400 older adults.

Social workers support residents and families, serving as consultants to the care team on resident and/or family concerns and issues. They help family members during times of change and transition and as they learn about the health information and changes affecting their loved ones. They facilitate problem solving during emotionally difficult times.

Social workers will mediate and facilitate, helping family members in complex and challenging situations.
