Principal for a day

Baycrest president and CEO Stephen Herbert poses with “his students” at William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute where he was principal for a day in November 2005. As part of a unique partnership between Baycrest and the high school, Herbert switched roles with principal Helene Green who spent a day at Baycrest in January. Herbert jumped at the chance to learn more about the school system and share his experience as a CEO in the public health care sector. The partnership with Mackenzie began over a year ago to create opportunities for students to volunteer, get involved in the community and learn about career possibilities. There are now close to 40 students volunteering at Baycrest.
