Summer Youth Volunteer Program

The Summer Volunteer Program starts in May and runs through to September. 

University students may book an interview after having completed their Application, TB Test and References (download forms).  Their summer commitment must be at least one month or as arranged with their supervisor. They will then be registered for an orientation on Tuesday April 29 in the evening or Tuesday May 6 in the morning. Only registered volunteers may attend.

High School Students who will volunteer for the summer may book an interview after having completed their Application, TB Test and Reference (download forms).  Their commitment must be at least one month or as arranged with their supervisor.  They will be registered for the Summer Orientation on Thursday June 26th.  Only registered volunteers may attend.

Special summer programs, outings and events are held for our clients during the summer months where volunteers can assist.  There are many positions open for summer students that may not be available to them during the fall/winter months.  Interviews for the summer program begin in March. 

Applications, References and TB Tests(download forms) must be completed prior to the interview.  For the summer program only, you will be registered for the suitable orientation at the interview.

Summer volunteer opportunities will be posted in the spring.
