Thank You For Making 2015 A Success

While we work hard to make the 2016 B2B epic, we still celebrate your efforts for the B2B 2015! The 20th annual Barrie 2 Baycrest ride took place on Sunday, September 20, 2015. 110 riders began their scenic ride in Barrie and friends, family and the Baycrest community joined them for a great celebration at Baycrest that afternoon. $550,000 was raised to support therapeutic programs at Baycrest, allowing our seniors to engage in important activities that contribute to their overall health and wellbeing. Thank you to our riders, donors, sponsors and supporters for making 2015 a success!

B2B supports critical therapeutic programs at Baycrest. In the last 19 years, our riders have raised more than $10M towards this goal. This funding allows seniors to keep moving, engage with others socially and remain independent in the activities of daily living.

Congratulations goes out to the Sam Ruth Award Recipient, Debbie Kimel and the Harold Lederman Award Recipient Daniel Winberg

Introducing the Marty Richman Award

Sept 27, 1936- November 20, 2015

The Committee of the B2B Ride is proud and honoured to announce the creation of the Marty Richman Award (presented to the Top Individual Fundraiser).

This award, and Marty himself, join the illustrious company of the only other two B2B awards and the important and generous people they are named for: The Harold Lederman Award and the Sam Ruth Award.

Marty Richman, a father of the B2B, is justly credited with taking B2B to an entirely new level of fundraising for the thousands of our older men and women who rely on the specialized programs the B2B funds and supports at Baycrest.

Even to this day, the enigmatic “Marty” still sits as the highest all-time fundraiser having personally raised over $500,000.

A truly amazing level of commitment that many cite as a driver of their own wonderful efforts to fundraise.
