The Chair of the Baycrest Foundation Board has thrown his hat in the ring to benefit a cause that is near and dear to his heart. Active on the Board since 2002 and Chair for the past two years, Warren Kimel is leading by example to raise funds to advance care delivery, research and education at Baycrest. The General Manager and Vice-President of Fabricland Distributors is optimistic that his talent for "counting" will override his lack of rhythm on the dance floor. While the father of four and grandfather of three stays fit with regular exercise, Warren hopes the rigours of learning to dance will benefit both his body and his brain. His father and grandfather had Alzheimer's and Warren has learned from the Baycrest experts that challenging the brain and staying active are proven weapons to help fight the disease. A committed Baycrest leader and supporter, Warren is also very active in UJA Federation, Toronto Freedom Lodge and Beth Sholom Synagogue.
