Families and visitors

As of Friday, May 10 – There are no outbreaks at Baycrest

To stop the spread of illness visitors are asked to:

  • Wash your hands often, or use the hand sanitizers located throughout Baycrest
  • Do not visit if you are ill.

Let us know how we're doing

Baycrest is committed to delivering the highest level of care possible to our clients. Achieving excellence in patient safety, client satisfaction and improving quality of life for our clients is one of our strategic goals, so your feedback is very important to us.

Baycrest clients and residents in the Apotex, Complex Continuing Care and Terraces, as well as their families, are invited to share their feedback with us during our satisfaction survey period, which begins in late November and runs until late December. An external research corporation, NRC Picker, has been contracted to conduct these surveys on Baycrest’s behalf. Please expect to receive a face-to-face or hard copy request to share your feedback and make a difference in care at Baycrest.

Responses are strictly confidential – no individual will be identified – and participation is voluntary.

If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please speak with your clinical manager or unit director. Thank you for your participation and for helping to make Baycrest a better place for all.

Stay Safe, Be Vigilant

If you spot a suspicious adult who seems to be loitering on Baycrest property and does not appear to be part of the Baycrest community:

  • Report your observation immediately to Baycrest Security, either in person or call ext. 2130.
  • Include a description if possible.
  • Be suspicious if approached by unknown individuals. Do not let them encroach on your personal space.
  • Use the after-hours Security Escort Program.
    • To ensure your safety, security officers are always on standby to escort staff, visitors and clients on the Baycrest campus.
