In addition, more than 230 of our staff hold academic appointments with, and teach at, the University of Toronto and other partner universities, colleges and institutes both locally and nationally in the faculties of medicine, dentistry, nursing, social work and rehab sciences, among others.

Baycrest not only has the ability, but also the responsibility, to help people around the world deal with the diseases of aging such as Alzheimer’s, stroke and depression. Through our international telehealth program, our Visiting Professor Lecture Series our Insights into Aging 101 series for consumers, and our on-line programming, conferences and other media, we share our knowledge with professionals, other health-care organizations and the public.

Baycrest also provides learning and consultation support that helps sustain a healthy and effective workplace, where people lead by example, feel valued for what they do, and provide excellent care and service.
