Brian Mackie is the Chief Financial Officer of Baycrest Seniors Care. He joined Baycrest in 2011 and brings more than 30 years of experience in Ontario’s health system, including 12 years at The Hospital for Sick Children and more than a decade in the Rehabilitation, Complex Continuing Care and Residential sectors. He is a former chair of the provincial committee for Health System Funding Reform in the Rehab/CCC sector and of the CAHO Innovation Adoption Task Force. Brian’s current focus is on expanding Baycrest’s residential retirement home portfolio, both in Canada and abroad. Brian trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in the UK and Canada. In addition to his role at Baycrest, Brian serves as Board Treasurer of Accessible Media Inc., a not-for-profit organization that delivers world-leading media and accessible television services to Canadians with disabilities.
