Baycrest

Dr. Aliya Hirani is a Family Physician with a focused practice in Care of the Elderly.  Her clinical roles include homebound medical care for frail older adults (through our Integrated Community Care Team – ICCT) and she is a staff physician in the Apotex, working on specialized units in mental health for the elderly and dementia care.  She also is a part time clinician on the rehabilitation unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital.   She has numerous additional roles in committees pertaining to medical education, falls prevention, physician/staff wellness and in systems integration within her field and is further involved with her community.   Dr. Hirani is currently the president of our Baycrest Professional Staff Association.
