Kiza Kozak
Kiza Kozak is the Vice-President, Digital Transformation, Chief Information Officer & Chief Privacy Officer at Baycrest Hospital and Apotex Centre, Jewish Home for the Aged. A senior healthcare executive with extensive experience across Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN) organizations, she leads Baycrest’s corporate digital strategy, modernization agenda, and cyber, data, and AI governance programs. Prior to joining Baycrest, Kiza served as Chief Information Officer at a leading pediatric rehabilitation hospital, where she oversaw digital strategy, cybersecurity, technical infrastructure, clinical information systems, enterprise data and analytics and health information management. Under her leadership, the organization achieved HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6, AMAM Stage 7, modernized its digital transformation, and established comprehensive Data and AI governance. Kiza has held director roles in Information Management & Technology at UHN, CAMH, and SickKids where she lead large scale digital transformations, operations and digital strategy across complex healthcare environments. She also currently serves on Boards and board subcommittees across healthcare and seniors’ care sectors, with accountability for strategy, quality, innovation, and audit and risk oversight. Her leadership is anchored in collaborative partnerships, operational excellence, and a commitment to modernizing digital capabilities that improve the lives of patients, clients, residents, and the families and teams that care for them. Kiza holds an Honours BSc, an MBA in Health Services Management, and is a Certified Health Information Management (CHIM) professional, a Certified Health Executive (CHE) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
