Participate in Research

At Baycrest’s Rotman Research Institute, ongoing research helps us learn more about the brain and aging. Our volunteer participants play an important role in making new discoveries possible.

We are looking for participants to help our leading cognitive neuroscientists advance research that improves how we prevent, diagnose and treat brain disorders.

Baycrest Client Registry

All Baycrest clients and residents are listed in the Baycrest Client Registry. As a client or resident, you may be invited to take part in research studies.

The Baycrest Client Registry is a secure database that stores a small amount of health information. Researchers use it to find people who may be eligible for studies at the Rotman Research Institute, where renowned neuroscientists study how the brain works.

Participation is always your choice. You can opt out of the Client Registry or decline to participate in any research study at any time by calling the research hotline at 416-785-2500, ext. 2900.
