Therapeutic Recreation Programs

The Apotex Therapeutic Recreation team helps long-term care residents enjoy meaningful and satisfying recreational experiences.

Recreationists assess each resident’s strengths, interests and goals to design activities that support independence and well-being. We also adapt activities to meet individual needs so everyone can participate.

We work closely with other departments to create a holistic and engaging recreational experience. For questions or suggestions, please contact a member of the Therapeutic Recreation team. Staff contact information is listed on the calendars and in the monthly resident and family newsletter.
