April 28, 2025 April 27 through May 3 is National Volunteer Week. During National Volunteer Week, and every week, we are deeply grateful to our volunteers for their dedication, compassion and commitment in supporting the residents, patients and staff at Baycrest.

This year’s National Volunteer Week theme is Volunteers Make Waves, and together with our volunteers we create ripples of collaboration, kindness and community across our Baycrest campus and throughout our larger community. Every volunteer contribution, large or small, makes a genuine difference to influence, inspire, connect and support, all of which combines to build a wave of positive change and impact.

In 2024 alone, Baycrest volunteers contributed over 27,000 volunteer hours across our campus in direct service roles, administration and research. Volunteers make a genuine difference by giving of their time and themselves.

Volunteering offers many benefits, including gaining new skills and experience, building your resume, and giving back to your community.  If you’re interested in making a positive difference, or know someone who is, consider becoming a volunteer at Baycrest, by visiting baycest.org/volunteer.
