The Memory Impact Questionnaire (MIQ) is a self-report questionnaire for clinicians and researchers to use for assessing the everyday impact of memory change among older adults. The measure has three subscales that assess restriction to lifestyle activities due to memory changes, negative emotion associated with memory change, and positive coping following memory changes.

The original development and validation study of the MIQ describes in further detail how this measure was created and describes an initial normative sample for this measure.
