The Memory Impact Questionnaire (MIQ) is a self-report questionnaire for clinicians and researchers to use for assessing the everyday impact of memory change among older adults. The measure has three subscales that assess restriction to lifestyle activities due to memory changes, negative emotion associated with memory change, and positive coping following memory changes.
The original development and validation study of the MIQ describes in further detail how this measure was created and describes an initial normative sample for this measure.

Health professionals, researchers, and students may use the MIQ test forms without permission for noncommercial clinical, research, and educational purposes. Forms must be purchased from Baycrest if used or funded by pharmaceutical or commercial entities.
Permission is required to translate the MIQ into another language.
