Together, we’ll explore how oral health connects to brain health ― from how infections and inflammation may influence dementia risk, to practical ways we can protect our teeth and our brains. Expect a conversation that blends science, storytelling and simple actions to support lifelong brain health.

Join us for a free, in-person
Defy Dementia™ community event and explore the latest developments in aging, brain health and the power of the arts in positive aging, and take part in interactive learning and expert brain health and hearing assessments.
Community members will have the chance to learn about dementia prevention and engage with experts in the field. Educational booths will open at 9 a.m., expert presentations and Q&A sessions will take place 10 a.m. to noon, followed by free brain health and hearing assessments from noon to 2 p.m.
Space is limited. Advanced registration is required for the presentation and brain assessments; hearing assessments are available on a first-come basis.
